How do I turn my goals into reality is a question I get asked all the time. Do I need to become more disciplined? Learn the right strategy? Or connect with the right people? All of these things can help, but they are not what determines how close you get to achieving your goals. Tony Robbins said it best “the path to success is to take massive, determined actions.”. If you want to start seeing results with your goals it’s time to think big, aim high, and act bold!
Your Only Limit Is In Your Mind: Think Big
I know we hear this word thrown around a lot right? There are mindset coaches and people who can help you to master your mind so that you can begin living your best life, but what exactly does mindset even mean?
When I joined Money Mindset Shift, a program that helped me to understand how to create long-term wealth and develop my relationship with money I wasn’t sure about what mindset meant. I had a surface level understanding and thought we would work on my thoughts related to money or examine my behavior with money to see how I can improve my thoughts, but truth be told lol, I was clueless!
After enrolling in the program I quickly began to understand that my mindset is the core of who I am inside. It determines my decisions, beliefs, perspective, and feelings. My mindset is packaged in every word I speak. My mindset is revealed in every step I take. My current situation (good and bad) in life is a direct reflection of my mindset. When I understood this I was blown away and challenged to get smart about what I allow into my core (mindset) and to clean up the money mess I had created.

When you understand that your only limit is in your mind because your mind is the core of who you are (it’s like your control center) and you create your life, business, family, and so on out of this place then you’ll able to conquer your biggest challenges. Nothing outside of you can stop you from crushing your goals. Big thinking helps you to see possibilities, find solutions, and work through challenges. Big thinking unlocks your ability to be resourceful. It produces wisdom and helps you to apply the knowledge you have to get the results you want.

You get in life what you have the courage to ask for: Aim High
How do I turn my goals into reality? This is a question that is clear, direct, specific, and intentional. It opens the door to resourcefulness and helps you to pave a new path, almost like putting a puzzle together, it stimulates your creativity and helps you to find a way to get it done. You already have everything you need to succeed you just have to take action.
“You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.” – Oprah Winfrey
The purpose-driven entrepreneur believed that regardless of his current situation of lack and poverty he will master life. He will figure out how to create a brighter future for himself and his family. He turned his setbacks and disappointments into fuel to pursue his goals. The other guy who experienced the same trials as the first interpreted his experience as fate and convinced himself that he could never keep a job, he wouldn’t be able to get ahead in life, and no matter what he did he would stay at the bottom.
When you think big (clear and master your mindset) and aim high (ask the right questions and create a plan for your success) you set yourself up for massive growth! Nothing external can stop you from achieving your goals but you. It’s that simple.
Trust Yourself: Act Bold
Robert Frost said, “Freedom lies in being bold.” If you never take the first step to achieve your goal don’t you think you’ll spend the rest of your life wondering “what if I had written that book? What if I had taken that opportunity to speak at that conference? What if I had started that business and passed it down to my grandchildren? What if…?”
50 years from now will you look back on your life with regret or will you share your story with pride inspiring your grand and great-grandchildren to think big, aim high, and act boldly? Will you feel a sense of completeness like your work on earth is done or will you feel unsettled because you never got that song out into the world, you never finished writing that book, or you never launched that blog.
You can’t always see how your actions will affect others but believe me when I tell you, what seems small to you can have a big impact on someone you may or not know. Your dreams were given to you for a reason. Choosing not to do it, is not an option. Don’t you think you’ve delayed it enough? It’s time to get busy turning your goal into something tangible. I want to see results. I want to see a physical manifestation of your years of studying, mentorship, and training.
You don’t have to have all of the answers, you just have to get started. You don’t have to know all of the right people, you just have to get started. You don’t have to know how to do it all yourself, you just have to get started!
