Maybe you’ve thought “Who am I to make an impact in the world like this”? If you said yes, you’re in the right place because today we’re talking to my friend Nick Bonitatibus, the founder of Digital Champions, about busting all of these beliefs and perspectives in the butt!
You’re going to hear us talk about everything from how to attain your definition of success (regardless of your age), what it’s really like to be a young entrepreneur, how you can manage your emotions to increase your performance, and so much more! If you have your favorite snack all buttered up and ready to go, hit play and let’s get started!
Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number
So stop letting it control you! I can share countless stories about people who said (and thought) I was too young to start a business, get married, manage money well, blah, blah, blah! Does it make their opinion true? Does someone’s age prevent them from being effective? We know it doesn’t! So if age really isn’t anything but a number, why are you letting yours stop you from getting started with your dreams?
Dream Job VS Dream Life
It almost sounds contradictory, doesn’t it? To think that our dream job could be in competition with our dream lifestyle. How does this happen and what do we do if we find ourselves in a situation like this? Hit play and let’s talk about it! Nick shares an interesting story about a time in his life when he achieved his career goal in marketing, helped to grow a start-up business to 2 million dollars, and got some really cool experiences and speaking opportunities as a result but in his heart, he knew this wasn’t the life he wanted to live for the next 5 years. That inner voice that we all know too well was inviting him to step into more and so he quit!
