Anyone who wants more out of life and is looking forward to experiencing new things, and wants to enjoy having a purposeful, satisfying time while here on earth will tell you that goal-setting is the only way to get there
They might practice having SMART goals, habit stacking, or eating the “frog” of the day, and as motivated as they are they still may not have satisfactory results how do I know? Because 92% of people FAIL to achieve their goals every.single.year (much less are feeling any satisfaction)
Is This Proof Goal-setting Doesn’t Work? Why does this happen?
Are they lacking some special “discipline” gene? Do they not have enough information out there to crush their goals? Have they not spent enough time thinking happy thoughts and cultivating gratitude?
Ugh…Those would be nice excuses.
Then we could all easily justify our miss takes as something that resulted from not spending enough time in meditation but the reality is special genes and hyper-focus is not necessary for success (unless you’re becoming a neurosurgeon…#kidding!). The number one reason why most people create goals they never achieve is because of poor performance or poor time management
Tell Me More
Poor performance is not doing what you said you would do while poor time management is working on the wrong things at the right time. So how do we rectify this?
Over the years of growing an online business and turning struggling goal-getters into trailblazers I’ve noticed 2 things:
- Nothing changes unless we do
- If we want to achieve bigger goals we have to begin with the end in mind
What Does This Mean?
Hit play and I’ll walk you through what it looks like to apply these principles to your life/business, how to set and achieve your goals so that goal-setting can work for you (not the opposite way around), and when to pivot if needed).
